According to Titrsanat, Seyed Ali Madani-Zadeh, Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, during this visit, accompanied by Reza Masrour, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade and Special Economic Zones, and Bahram Sarmast, Governor of East Azerbaijan Province, along with their delegation, has scheduled visits to greenhouse units and the inauguration of three major development and production projects.
Three landmark and infrastructure projects in the Aras Free Trade Zone are set to be officially inaugurated during this visit, including the Eurasia Corridor artery (named in honor of the Martyrs of Authority), the Savan Aras Refinery, and the Tav Steel factory. The total investment made for the implementation of these three projects has been announced at over 14,650 billion rials.
It is worth noting that, on the sidelines of the visit, a joint meeting will be held with the participation of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade and Special Economic Zones, together with managers, producers, exporters, and investors of the Aras Free Trade Zone. The meeting aims to review existing obstacles, capacities, and development opportunities, as well as to strengthen an investment-oriented and export-driven economic approach in the region.
