The CEO of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO) announced the company’s extensive activities in 20 provinces of the country for the development of mineral explorations, stating that with the attraction of private sector investment and the utilization of capital market capacities, plans have been made to accelerate the development of metal and coal mines next year.

In the second press conference of the Association of Steel Structure Producers and Exporters, representatives of this key Iranian industry, with an annual steel production of 40 million tons, highlighted challenges such as energy imbalance, lack of liquidity, and the decline in specialized workforce. They also reported ongoing discussions with the government to remove obstacles. Modern technologies and “green steel” were introduced as the keys to sustainable development and increased productivity.

Mohsen Benar, Director General of Research and Development at RighTel, announced the design and deployment of an intelligent robot that, with advanced imaging capabilities, real-time monitoring, and 5G connectivity, operates in hard-to-reach and hazardous environments of the oil, gas, petrochemical, and mining industries. It enables precise monitoring of personnel presence, fault detection, and pipeline leakage identification, and by sending analytical reports to operational teams, contributes to enhancing the safety and efficiency of these industries.
