A group of members from the Iranology Scientific Association, accompanied by several history professors from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz, conducted a research visit to the Arvand Free Trade Zone.
During the visit, they evaluated the condition of archaeological sites within the area and emphasized the need for systematic and well-structured archaeological studies to preserve and better understand the region’s ancient heritage.

During the consultative meeting between the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance and economic stakeholders on Kish Island, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones expressed his appreciation for the role of the private sector in the island’s development, stating:

“The investors present in Kish are true lovers of Iran and devoted to the prosperity of this land. Many of them could have chosen to invest elsewhere in the country, yet with passion and commitment, they remained in Kish and built this region into what it is today.”

The 27th International Iran Steel Symposium was held from October 27 to 29, 2025 (Aban 6–8, 1404) on Kish Island, with the participation of leading companies and key players in Iran’s steel industry.
On the final day of this major event, the Kaveh South Kish Steel Company’s booth was honored as the top booth of the symposium, in recognition of its continuous efforts, technological innovations, and strong presence as a major steel billet producer and a key industrial hub in Iran’s steel sector.

An examination of the latest price trends in the commodity markets of the steel, mining, and petrochemical sectors during Shahrivar 1404 (September 2025) reveals a significant increase in certain products and notable fluctuations in urea fertilizer and lube cut oil.
These changes are influenced by both domestic and global factors, including construction demand, infrastructure projects, and currency exchange rate volatility, all of which have precisely shaped the current market outlook.
