According to Titrsanat, the meeting of the Policy-Making Council of the University of Tehran’s Specialized Steel Industry Center was held today in the Council Room of the Faculty of Engineering.
In this meeting, in addition to outlining the Center’s performance over the past two years in the fields of education, research, and industry collaboration, planning for the organization of the 3rd International Iran Steel Chain Conference was also discussed.
The council members, referring to the central role of the University of Tehran in developing technical knowledge and improving productivity across the country’s steel value chain, emphasized the importance of synergy between academia, industry, and policy-making institutions.
In this meeting, proposals were also presented for expanding joint collaborations with the country’s largest steel companies and utilizing the university’s research capacities to address industrial challenges. The University of Tehran’s Specialized Steel Industry Center has, in recent years, become one of the most influential scientific institutions in Iran’s steel sector, aiming to develop modern technologies, train specialized human resources, and establish effective links between research and industry.
