According to Titrsanat, the knowledge-based company Pars Tolid Karan Safahan Kousha, known commercially as ParsTech, which has been active in the field of powder metallurgy engineering and advanced machinery since 2015, has now become one of the key producers of advanced metals in the country. Based on reports, the company, with its focus on producing alloy powders and advanced metals, has so far succeeded in supplying nearly 90 percent of the domestic industry’s demand for tungsten products.
The managers of ParsTech told Titrsanat: “Sanctions have not only failed to hinder our growth, but they also became an incentive for us to fully localize the technology for producing this strategic metal within eight years.”
Despite the company’s focus on meeting domestic needs, the quality of its products—especially tungsten—meets international standards. This achievement demonstrates that domestic production can support the country’s advanced industries even under difficult circumstances.
University–industry collaboration is the key to technological development, and ParsTech, relying on its scientific foundation and continuous cooperation with Isfahan University of Technology, has expanded its technical expertise in tungsten production. Today, the company operates specialized laboratories and an advanced manufacturing facility.
The managers of this knowledge-based company, referring to their technical capabilities in recovering tungsten from waste materials, criticized the continued import of this product by some industries and said: “Unfortunately, some sectors of the industry are still unaware of the capabilities of domestic production.”
They hope that with wider introduction of their capabilities and the identification of domestic mines, dependence on imports will decrease. The company is active in various fields, including the production of alloy powders, technical consulting, design and reverse engineering, and the manufacturing of industrial and laboratory machinery and equipment, and is regarded as a strategic partner of many major industries in the country. By continuing its path of innovation, ParsTech has not only strengthened its role in advancing Iran’s industry but has also presented a lasting model of self-reliance in the production of strategic metals.
