Expansion of Independent Bank Branch Authorities in Free Trade Zones

According to Titrsanat, during the 29th meeting of the Council of Deputies and Directors of the Kish Free Zone Organization, attended by the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, Reza Masroor expressed his appreciation for the Minister’s presence and the organization’s leadership team.

Masroor, referring to the past economic constraints within the free trade zones, added:

“Many restrictions in the banking and financial sectors have long existed; however, our goal is to restore the former advantages and implement key projects, including the establishment of independent bank branches and foreign exchange trading platforms. With the support of the Ministry of Economy and the Central Bank, these projects will soon be successfully completed.”

At the end, the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free and Special Economic Zones stated:

“By continuing on this path, we will soon witness a distinct and advanced transformation of Kish Island in the fields of economy and development.”
